Resource Centers in Rural Areas of Kenya Added to the Google Maps

I am proud local guide from Narok County which is approximately 150km from the capital Nairobi city, Kenya. An iconic African safari destination and home to the Maasai community. The Maasai are well known for their unique culture and tribal dress.

Travelling has been part of me and sharing experience has never fade in me. There has been a lot of challenges in navigating to some places and honestly I have never leave any place the same again with wrong directions. I have also added some missing places on maps to help others get their destinations and what are looking for online without much struggle.

I have profound interest in sharing most resourceful places like libraries where people can get information on the history of our local culture and other important resources including the government services. Most important places in Kenya rural areas have been missing on maps and that has really been my humble duty during my time online. I have been experiencing questions on maps about the places I had visited and I have been guiding them accordingly and to their satisfactory.

Kenya rural areas registering high level of illiteracy, I have been utilizing all possibilities and avenues to ensure that any resourceful place is captured on maps with photos, rated and reviewed. There is nothing that bring great joy compared to helping people who can’t pay you back. It is the greatest joy I have experienced since my inception to local guide fraternity.

I have been experiencing sometimes problem with my camera but my phone has been there to capture the moments and all joy of my experience in all places I have visited.

Thanks Google for the noble idea.
