Hello Local Guides Team and Fellow Contributors, I’m reaching out to report the disappearance of a previously existing place on Google Maps: Santhom Hostel, located within the Vimal Jyothi Engineering College campus in Chemperi, Kannur, Kerala. I lived in Santhom Hostel for two years and contributed multiple photos and details to its original Google Maps listing. The hostel used to appear correctly and had photos and reviews uploaded by myself and other students. Recently, I noticed the place is no longer visible or searchable on Google Maps. To be clear — I am not trying to create a new listing, but rather requesting that the original and valid location be restored. The removal seems to have unintentionally hidden a valuable and accurate point of interest, which students, parents, and campus visitors rely on.

What I Request: - Investigate and restore the original listing of Santhom Hostel that previously existed. - Reconnect previous photos and reviews that were linked to the hostel. - Ensure visibility is restored for contributors and map users. This kind of problem is however better managed in the Google Maps Help community, where their focus is to keep Google Maps in good conditions.
