I am contacting you directly to request an administrative review and removal of a suspected automated spam bot profile that has recently followed my account on the Local Guides Connect platform.
The profile in question is currently using a high-profile celebrity display name, lacks any legitimate user photograph, and is currently sitting at Level 2 with perhaps no substantial, authentic contributions to the community.
This type of automated profile surveillance operates exactly like an intrusive tracker, which directly impacts the well-being of authentic Local Guides who use this space to share genuine community insights. Non-authentic accounts using identity masking should be entirely disallowed from entering the Local Guides platform.
Could a moderator please inspect this specific profile’s system logs, verify its status as an automated bot, and permanently restrict it from the platform to ensure our community workspace remains safe and authentic?

I have already escalated that profile. He posted some spam earlier today here on Connect. It was quickly taken down. I don’t think we need to do more right now. But thanks for reporting.
Elon is listed as a follower & I can’t remove it on the local guides (wantabe) app. Can you take him off my account please. I’m on iPhone, and while on this subject, another issue, the Local Guides on phone makes removing someone complicated I cannot simply click his name and block it! It appears to be a long winded journey to get rid of him without also closing you guys out (Ai advice)! Is there a new design that favours guides over metrics? And finally a massive tks for the very fast reassurance Morten.
