Reporting Fake 5-Star Reviews of business listings and agencies providing such services

I have a competitor in the city that is faking 5-star reviews on their Google listing. They have over 270 5-star reviews and most of the reviews were left by the fake account owned by a company providing fake review services that only made 5star reviews for their client’s listings, all the accounts have reviewed same business and that too in different states and countries and are surely being purchased.

The listing in question is -

  1. vac global education - noida

  2. vac global education - delhi

  3. NN Tour and Travels

  4. spirit desert camp - rajasthan

  5. atlantis watersports- scuba diving - goa

  6. oyo9912 hotel rock sea

  7. Allstates property management USA

I think that this much evidence is good enough to assure Google that these reviews are being purchased and affecting other similar businesses and their hard work.

All the accounts are reviewing the same business and of different countries and states mostly India, USA and Canada.

I hope to see some actions against these businesses and accounts and reviews being removed soon.

such kind of google listings should also be removed as they are violating the google policies.

it would be very kind of you people to register my complain and take some action against it as i am also running the same business and all my clients are getting lost because of their fake reviews.

all the reviews are fake and being purchased. They have got 135 reviews in just last 2 weeks and around 170 in last 1 month

they have got 160 reviews in the last 4 weeks and 210 reviews in the last 4 months.

I Think I have provided enough evidence against these two businesses, it’s clear that they are breaking Google policies and guidelines. These fake reviews should be removed as it is affecting others hard work a lot. It is also possible that all the reviews are fake. I request Google to take strict action against them, their listing must be suspended and all the reviews should be removed as they are breaking the policies and cheating their customers and Google.

As ermest mentioned you can report the reviews if you think are invalid, inappropriate and do not belong on Google Maps, should be reported as described in this article Flag inappropriate reviews. A team of specialists will then check if it violates any of our policies and will take appropriate action. I will send you a private message with instructions on how to report these users accounts so our team can look into these accounts and take any appropriate action, though we won’t be able to share the final decision as we respect everyone’s privacy.

I just wanted to let you know that the Local Guides program is for individuals and not business owners, as business owners can take advantage of Google My Business for assistance in managing their listing, including responding to reviews.
