Reporting a Local Guide

Hi guys, I have found an user who is cheating, he rates and leave comments about places that he never had visited just to earn points. I know that he never was on that places because on his reviews he writes “I never have been here”.

This is bad for the community and for the business reviewed by this user because he gives them a 3 star rank to all, I think that this is unfair, an also hard for the business owners to report.

Is there something that can be done about it?

I have noticed some business also doing this, posting hundreds of photos at the same time to get a higher ranking. Have you found any information about this?

Exacto, hay bastantes que hacen malas prácticas. Las denuncio como spam.

Llega alguien y publica su negocio en un montón de esquinas que no hay ningún local. Se les pilla fácil porque el Google Street View no hay nada, y cuando buscas la empresa sale en muchos sitios con solo teléfono

Ellos hacen su papel “malo” y nosotros el papel de mejorarlo.

Hello, I hope that you see this as I have been very diligent in adding to the google maps platform, I have noticed that some people have gained "local guide status’ by simply uploading a plethora of pictures. I have tried to FLAG the content, and a restaurant I suspect by looking at the reviews is also culpable.

I have also re-read and read how to flag content but I am not sure that these are being seen by the appropriate people. It is my hope that google maps remains a place where we can have an accurate assessment of places and true reviews, as a local guide who takes the time to write and spends the money to purchase at restaurants, I hope that someone can answer my questions and review the accounts.
