The local committees of Bhaktapur have started reconstruction of the early 18th-century temple marks the continuation of local participation in rebuilding heritage monuments.The temples withstood the 1934 mega-quake that was 8.3 magnitude, as well as the 7.8M earthquake in 2015. However, it needed structural strengthening and general maintenance.
