Removed Spoiler Coming back. [One time Issue-Automatically Solved]

Hello!!

All of you.

Today when I guide one local guide, to say him about add more details in his idea post,

When I do comment, the written box shows like 2 Rectangular box and it’s cover by Square box.

First time I see this on connect.

Then I check with random writing, but it still same as.

I thought if I publish this, it’s automatically solve, but when I publish my comment, it’s looks as spoiler.

Then I serch on LG Connect, and I find that this feature is available in past, that removed by mashaps threw one local guides idea&suggestion.

Means remove of spoiler is implemented idea, so why it’s shows me now?

This is a link of my comment,

https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/Idea-Exchange/Local-Guide/idc-p/2469330#M51324

Then I again try to check it’s happening many times or not?

But this time it’s not shown.

Here, I publish this post in idea exchange because it needs improvement.

Feel free to convert in How-tos,

And sorry for my Over Reaction on this topic.

Thanks.

Or

Check How this is happen?

I don’t know, but may be it’s chances to happen with many local guides…

Give your feedback…

Thanks @KishorMali

I am not able to replicate your issue that, in any case, is an issue, so this post should be on How To.

I am tagging @KatyaL for a check, and for moving your posts out of Idea exchange

Please read: How do I use the Idea Exchange and what happens to my ideas?

Thank you

Hi @KishorMali

Thanks for sharing this with us and thanks @ErmesT for tagging me.

I would advise you to check out the tips described here - How to remove an unintended ‘Spoiler’. I hope this helps. At this point I’m also not able to replicate this.

P.S. Your post is moved to the How-tos section of Connect where usually the Local Guides are sharing their questions or any issues they face with the platform.

Thanks @KatyaL for your attention…

Before I upload this I already serch about this and read

@JanVanHaver 's post.

But, the removal of Spoiler is implemented idea, so that’s

Why I ask is that 100% implemented?. And thanks for your feedback and solution.

And that you mention that you can’t able to replicate this, same this side.

A one time issue…

But it’s bit confusing… So for checking of implementation I upload this post…

Thanks…

Thanks for your reply… @ErmesT

Agree with you…

This is a one time issue… But I bit confusing that the removal of Spoiler already implemented idea, so now it’s happen with me, how it’s possible?. So that’s why I post in idea exchange…

And only google moderators have proper answer, because it’s related to implementation error. So it’s another reason to upload in this category…

And I already mention feel free to convert this post in How-tos. (Because It’s looks 70%question+30% error…

I edit my title for more relevant understanding…

Thanks for tagging to katyal… :+1:

Yes in fact it is possible, in some rare case, @KishorMali , BTW it is quite easy to understand that this is just an issue.

In the previous editor the spoiler was activated by a button on the editor toolbox.

With the improvement, the visibility of the command was removed, but the command still there. That’s why, with a low connection, when the reply page loads, you can sometimes see more command than the ones used.

If, during the load of the editing page, you touch unintentionally the spoiler command, the spoiler will be activated.

As the spoiler is in fact an HTML instruction, @KatyaL addressed you, correctly, to the procedure to remove it.

That’s all.

A spoiler activated automatically cannot be an improvement, @KishorMali , especially if it happens casually. That’s the reason why I asked to move your post out of Idea exchange

I think I know what is going on, but I also don’t think it is not very important for the majority of local guides, @KishorMali .

The “standard” lithium editor used on Connect has several extra icons/tools, but they are disabled here on the connect site. If you look very carefully while the editor loads for a brief fraction of a second the full set of icons are displayed just to be replaced by the limited selection of icons. If you by accident hit one of those in that fraction of a section you could see such strange HTML elements. Don’t worry it is not a big problem. Start over or delete the unwanted HTML-codes. Starting over will always be the easiest choice.

Thanks… @MortenCopenhagen

I also see this options when I Write my post.

These options are available for 0.3-0.5 seconds…

Is that you mention?.

Be relaxed, @KishorMali , it helps more than being confused. Check if something happens again before to write an idea that will probably be removed, take your time.

Be happy and smile. I have seen hundreds of posts in connect that were all a matter of “Iive or die”, (well, no one was really a tragedy) :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, this is what we mentioned, myself and @MortenCopenhagen , one of them is the spoiler command, @KishorMali

Yup, @KishorMali

I think you accidentally hit the <>-icon. It creates an html DIV tag or something of that nature.
