Remove wrong pictures on Maps

Hello dear LG friends,

In Belgium there are some villages who came together and now it’s the time for us as a Guide to add some pictures for the new created village. Since 11/19 I tried to #cleanthemap like @JanVanHaver in this town but I tried several times to clean and no response, what do we have to do?

This link shows the village but showing dogs and other pics.

@KristofVaneeck that is of course an exceptional situation: while in the real, physical world nothing changes, still on the map everything changes because those 2 villages decided (on 01/01/2019) to become 1 administrative unit instead of 2 separate ones.

I already had been checking out (and correcting) some things there in the course of 2019 but even now I notice that for some POIs the address still has ‘Kruishoutem’ as place name instead of ‘Kruisem’. The fact that the underlying map has been corrected can be seen if you come across a POI that still has Kruishoutem as place name: if you go into ‘Suggest an edit’ and then click on the address field, you will notice that Maps does not suggest an address as long as the text field contains the full word Kruishoutem, but as soon as you remove ‘houtem’ the suggested address with ‘Kruisem’ will pop up beneath the text field. (The example I tested was this on was Bakkerij Rogge in the Nieuwstraat, and you should still be able to test it yourself, as my suggested edit is now Pending).

A question to you @KristofVaneeck as truly local guide there: what should be done in your view with the POI names that still have ‘Kruishoutem’ in the name, like ‘Proxy Kruishoutem’? Would it make sense to suggest edits there too? Or would that only confuse people?

As for the pictures: the dog pics seem to come from 1 particular local guide who probably did not realize (s)he was uploading those to that general city place on Maps. The best way to report those is using a mobile device (for sure on Android, no idea on iOS) as you can there immediately flag inappropriate pictures (just click it and a flag will appear in the top right corner) - I already did that just now for the dog pictures (selecting ‘Not a pic of this place’ from the menu). My experience is that they then disappear within.a few days.
