Remove lots of duplicates of a park

The place I have tagged is the correct one and marks the whole park. Everything inside should be located in this place.

Now following are all the duplicates.

6k ratings. This is the worst one. This place is located inside the park, a motor sport track, and many other places are marked as located inside it. What’s happening is that this is being taken as the park itself.

I have just opened a few of those links, and it is quite obvious that there are problems with them. Have you already tried to change e.g. the category for some of them (e.g from amusement park to park)? Or move the map marker to the location of the correct one?

As that would be my advised strategy: make sure all incorrect ones are identical to the correct one, and once those edits are approved, mark them as duplicates.

Thanks for posting this. Are you aware that what you are pointing out can actually be fixed by yourself? You have the power to merge these places. You might find it useful to read my tips on how to merge places.

I checked that the one you suggest should be the Poi to keep is not a map layer Poi, so I believe your plan sounds good.

That’s a nice strategy. I didn’t know that making them same would get them approved.

I marked them duplicate but that didn’t work before. Will try again. Thanks.

In relation to the inquiry, I would second what was shared by @JanVanHaver @MortenCopenhagen should those would be the directions that you may check to motion the situation.
