Relax in the mountains

There are several reasons why the current week was not exactly this, would I could wish.

So in the afternoon I decided to make something only with my dog :dog2:. People who have a dog, how relaxing it can be to walk with a dog who do not judge and argue. This means of course not, that I would talk to an animal…

I decide to go into a ravine or gorge (don’t know the different in English) and after to going to a mountain pasture.

Inside here it is very noisy and wet and not so cosy, but somehow it has something like a natural tunnel of horror, especially when I saw later this picture, while when I took the picture I didn’t saw this:

Isn’t this on the left a very big skull :scream::scream::scream:

When you are inside such a gorge, you can feel how powerful the nature is and this is maybe the main reason why so many thousand people visit this place every year.

But where is a way in, is also a way out.

And of course my dog who don’t like water, did get what she likes most… A long walk to a mountain pasture. As I was late, we where nearly alone.

It was not the best weather, but it does not rain. Anyway this view made me relax. You can see green grass and trees , but as well gray stones and snow.

I did sit there with one glass of beer  mixed with lemonade and lost the feeling of time and most important my sorrows and troubles. The panorama took it all away while I trickled my dog…

I need this private time from time to time for me. Now the weekend can come and I will enjoy it with my wife and the children.

Have you also such kind of places where you go to find peace?

Hello @TorM ,

What a beautiful post you shared today.

Thank you so much for sharing about these amazing mountains that are really the most intense expression of our beautiful nature.

Love how you describe the place (thank you for the Google Maps link) but also the relaxing time you live with your sweet friend :dog2:. I have a dog and I can perfectly understand the good feelings that you describe just walking with our pet creating a full contact with the nature and as you say taking the moment only for us.

I would like to share a place close to my house where I live a peaceful dimension with my sweet Molly.

Have a great weekend with your lovely family:blush::clap::+1:

@Ant_Bad_Yogi ,

Super! October is a good time to be there.

When it is a colder day a rain coat is useful but no must. I use to go there only, when it is warm.

If you are there please be aware to visit also the

Berggasthof Eckbauer

Here is in fact the best view for people who like mountains.

Proposal.

Trip with the cable car to this place, walk from there to the Partnachalm and than go from the upper side of the Partnachklam back to the Olympic ski jumping arena.

You will not regret.

Hi @TorM ,

It seems that you had great time there!

You are right that we need sometimes time to go to such peaceful places and I think the best place is the mountain because of the nature and silence. As I can see, you were with your dog, which is super nice, because you combined relax and to go with your dog for a walk.

I personally prefer also to have a rest in the mountain. My favourite place in my country Bulgaria is Smolyan. The city is situated deep in the mountain and it’s like separate from the world. In the villages around this city there is for example only one shop and the people there can buy only once per week bread that’s why they prefer to have homemade meals. In the winter when it’s snow a lot, they even cannot go to the city.

Here you can see photos from there:

Hi @TorM !

Yes, you are totally right; I love to go to the beach and listen the sound of the waves, very relaxing.

Specially I like to watch it when there is a thunderstorm.

One of my favorites beaches is Ilha do Farol in the Portuguese Algarve. There aren´t cars, so you have to go by ferry or by boat. In summer there are more people, but during the rest of the year is almost empy.

I haven´t got good pics, the lens where dirty… but more or less you can make an idea :))

Good Evening from the South of Spain,

Thank you @AlejandraMaria for the nice sea pictures. Yes, Portugal is already closer to the Atlantic and compared with the beautiful Mediterranean Sea it is of course more powerful.

Some years ago I quite often did visit the Baltic Sea. It is not the power of the water, but the power of the wind, and the very salty taste, I do like most there.

Enjoy the day and upcoming weekend.
