I am at position of local guide 7. I don’t recieved any email and reward from Google. Should I have to mail it or what is the criteria to get the rewards.

Hi @travelkismat , I can see that this is your first post here on Local Guides Connect.
I’d like to ask if there is a specific reward that you are looking for? The LG platform is voluntary and there is no form of payment for any contributions made, rewards such as pin badges, funky socks, and other small gestures are periodically offered (seemingly) randomly to Guides. Hopefully, this helps answer your question.

No I just looking for Google pin some said it was received on level 5 or 6 but I am level 7 still waiting for pin email. I have read the email below. What is the criteria that Google have to reward pins.

For whatever reason, Google is very secretive over what actually determines who is eligible for rewards, after all, Google Maps and Local Guides are their property so they have the final say. I got my first physical reward in March this year, and looking at Google’s emails, I was Level 9 with 62,276 points at the end of the month. The reward I claimed was one of the pin badges that you mentioned. As @Lukas_1 said there’s no guarantee you’ll get a reward and the main focus should be helping people experience your Country, City & Community through Google Maps. Hopefully this helps!
