I haven’t received any gift from google. My friends with less points than me have received cool pair of socks but not me. Please have a look on my google maps profile and my contributions.

Google perks aren’t “fair”, they consistently give to one person and not to another, they’ll happily reward low ranking guides and ignore someone who is pretty much working for them for free on a full time basis and doing 10,000 edits a month. It’s the way it is.
They recently handed out 100 points as a reward for editing to some people with no obvious pattern (see achievements section, one person got them for doing 7 edits, yes, just 7 edits), here in the UK some people recently got chance for £50 off the price of a Chromebook, others get socks (or are promised them). It’s how it works. Some get free 360 cameras and chance to attend events, it’s just one of those things.
If you want rewards for your efforts then Local Guides isn’t the place for it, do what you do on the basis you’re helping the community, if you then get a perk then it’s a bonus, not a right.
There’s no pattern, there’s no fairness, it’s Google, things happen in secret for reasons we’ll never know.
If you desperately need Google socks for some reason you can always buy a pair .
Hang in there, keep up the good work and maybe one day it’ll be your turn.
All the Local Guides aren’t getting perks, time to time Google sends some perks to Local Guides and it depends on the contribution and the quality of the contributions.
@AbdullahAM I disagree about your statement that “it depends on the contribution and the quality of the contributions” - evidence posted here suggests even poor quality contributions in small numbers can yield rewards.
It seems somewhat random and, to be frank, unjust a lot of the time

Hi @DeniGu , our Local Guide friend has already redeemed the gift from Google, but he hasn’t received any tracking numbers or update about the shipment yet.

Please allow 6 weeks for delivery.
