Often, while trying to edit a phone number, it doesn’t get accepted. Sometimes the same issue occurs when adding a new place. Even when physically visiting a new location and trying to add it from there, the same problem happens. In such cases, what should be done? Are there any tips and tricks?
অনেক সময় ফোন নং এডিট করতে গিয়ে দেখা যায় সেটা এক্সেপ্ট হয় না। আবার নতুন স্থানে গিয়ে সেখানে থেকে স্থান অ্যাড করতেও এরকম সমসসা হয়। সেক্ষেত্রে কি করনীয়? কোন টিপস অ্যান্ড ট্রিক্স কি আছে?

IMO, this is better to be updated by the respective business owner due to authenticity, privacy and security concerns.
Hello @sumanbd, in some countries, Google has blocked changing the phone number by local guides to avoid fraud. Owners are able to change it, but it needs to be verified and approved. It was discussed here recently with an interesting case description, why it can become a problem.

I got your point, but I don’t know whether my country is blocked or not. Anyway, but what about adding a new place? In spite of providing accurate info and accurate place, it is also taking a long time, or pending and declining sometimes. Thanks for replying @WilfriedB
I think, the best way is to add only name, category, geographical coordinates and postal address (selected from the list after setting the coordinates). All other information, I only add after it was accepted, which can take a while.
I noticed yesterday, after receiving the mail “accepted” and seeing it under My Contributions, it took several hours until seeing the new place on the map and being able to add opening hours and photos. I also avoid adding photos at the same when creating the place. Photos always have the risk to be refused by the SPAM filter.
