Introduction by @TravellerG (TG)
Dedicating my years of experience & knowledge to groom a few selected Local Guides in Photography & allied fields, we initiated the “LGs Photo World WhatsApp Group” [on 14th April,2019] as an exclusive Platform. The Aim is to showcase the TALENTS & CREATIVITY of members - I strongly believe that “Sharing” provides a conducive environment to Learn from each other. Of course, I spend time to guide LGs in the group for common aspects of Photography & interact directly with Individuals, for personal corrections.
I am really proud of our Members and highly appreciate them for their zeal & enthusiasm. We have:
(1). Contributing Members, who actively participate in posting Photos (& Videos)
(2). Inspiring Members, who (may not be always active Contributors; but) involve fully to inspire fellow LGs and give comments about contributions.

Weekly Talent Show: To have a more focused contributions and learning of photography techniques based on our mentor TG sir’s advice we introduced the “Weekly Talent Show” for our members to post and discuss photos specific to the theme of the week. Our main objective is not a “Competition” but a “Celebration” of the photography talent of our LGs have mutual learning from each other and our mentor. At the end of the week the best 3 are chosen based on voting by group members.
After successful completion of 5 THEMES (1. Silhouette, 2. Flowers, 3. Birds, 4. Sunset, 5. Vegetables - creative) “Reflection was our 6th THEME”.
This initiative has presented many beautiful shots of reflection photos. Below were voted the top 3 best photos, along with a few random selected Photos.

It’s a proud moment for me to co-host such a unique concept in front of our Global LG Community.
Weekly Talent show is a concept where all the photographers (hobbyist, professional, beginner or intermediate) come together and share their contribution every week, on a new theme.
- This is a great way to learn new concepts and techniques in photography.
- It also motivates members to expand their scope and learn different types/ aspects of photography.
- This concept is not just restricted to sharing photos on theme, the members keep sharing their photos and also share tips on how to click photos using our device and basic settings in the device.
- If you all like this post, we will come with more posts of such creativeness of our LG Members.
- This is an amazing way for us to learn and know more about photography from LGs around the Globe
