Hello Local Guides, It feels surreal to share that one of the places’ name I updated on Google Maps has now been viewed 700,000 times.
Honestly when I first decided to update the name of that place, I had no idea it would go beyond a few curious glances. But now, seeing that number, it feels like something much bigger than I ever imagined.
It is an acknowledgment of the effort, creativity and significance of the place’s name that is being viewed. This kind of recognition opens up a lot of doors : opportunities to connect with more people, get noticed for what we are doing and make something we care about is meaningful to local community.
It is like a little digital footprint that shows how our influence has reached far and wide.
