Sedona is another great place to visit in Arizona state. I took the trip to Sedona in 2004, in fact visited Sedona on my way to Grand Canyon from Phoenix. On the way we stopped several vista point to view and capture pictures of beautiful red rocks
Sedona is also famous for Spiritual retreats. There are several day Spas in the small town of Sedona.
You can take Jeep tours to visit these red rocks up close. Sedona is a popular tourist destination in Arizona!

The area where I used to live in Morocco has a very similar rocky mountains, a proof that the continents were one and then they divided!

@BorrisS Thanks! This was the trip I took almost 15 years ago, I was taking my parents who were visiting from India, from Phoenix to Grand Canyon. We passed through Sedona. We spent around 5 hours visiting several vista points to view these amazing red rocks.

@jayasimha78 Arizona seems to have superb land-scapes. I did some Google search and mostly red rocks and forming. Which is so unique.
