Photo was taken on this day 4 years ago. This book containing names of 6500 Sailors & Merchants who have no grave but the Sea, died in World War II 1939-1945.
This book is currently protected in Chittagong War Cemetery in Bangladesh.

These tomes are always great books of sadness @mimran7212921 of lives lost, usually young lives who would have had many many years of live ahead of them if it wasn’t for fighting in a war.

I’ve seen a few burials who were average 30-32 years old.
Indeed, sad 
to know people going out never to come back home.
