A meetup that was supposed to be exclusive to Africa became a diverse one as many Enthusiastic Crowdsource Local Guides graced the meetup in large turnout across the globe. It was a fun meetup. This meet was planned by @Mayford and I for almost a month and it turned out to be a success.
It was a collaborative effort by so much amazing Local Guides @MrBest@UchechukwuEnem together with @Mercy51 who was unable to attend because of illness.
They agenda was to bring together Local Guides who are also Crowdsource enthusiasts with the Crowdsource team together with people who are not yet Local guides but are so much interested to contribute to Crowdsource. Uchechukwu Enem who is a level 8 Local Guide and also a Crowdsource influencer said explicitly on how we should embrace the spirit of volunteerism which is necessary for both programs. A Google Crowdsource Employee Aishwarya Verma talked so much about Machine learning and answered some numerous questions thrown at her by the attendees. Eleje Chikwendu who is also a Level 8 Local Guide and a top contributor on Crowdsource did a wonderful presentation to wrap up the meetup. After his awesome presentation which was clearly spelt out and understandable, we ended the meetup resoundingly.
P.S: I can’t take credit alone for this wonderful meetup. It was a collaborative effort of many Local Guides that made this meetup a successful one.
Absolutely enjoyed a full one hour and the half of great presentations and insights from seasoned Crowdsouce contributors and experts. Thank you for the opportunity to connect with other African contributors @Austinelewex and also our friends from India and other parts of the world. It was a very successful meetup.
Hello @Austinelewex , I would have liked to see more photos of the meet-up haha but I am happy to know that you have been able to realize such a good initiative.
