[RECAP] World Wide Food Crawl Meet-Up - 2017 - Rome

Thanks again to @BudionoS for the great idea of a World Wide Food Crawl!

This is the RECAP of World Wide Food Crawl Rome edition.

It started all in the morning, when we met in the Porto Fluviale area for some Street Art Discovery:

This is a great Blu work, I saw developing from the start, as I live just in front for two years.

So we, me, Virginia and Valerio, along with a friend of mine STILL not on Local Guides, Raethia, met @user_not_found , @EnricoM and “little” son Renato, started with a short visit to Romeow Cat Bistrot and the marvellous raw-vegan cakes! Everyone enjoyed the place, and the cats inside, as you can see:

Renato played some piano, while Valerio was playing with cats :slight_smile:

While we are trying to eat cake and drink cappuccino!

Then we shortly visited Città Equa e Solidale, where many associations bring goods to poor people around the city:

During our walking we discovered new Street Art, and you can see the difference between Google Car SV and my, new, SV!

Before the second place to eat, we have another quick walk around historical site of Gazometro, and we had time fore a 360 selfie!

But now is time for our Food Crawl, so we entered Porto Fluviale and we ordered our lunch.

Filetto, Paccheri alla Carbonara, mixed salad, Rigatoni all’Amatriciana, Cotoletta … you can’t really understand how good!

Nice recap post @LucioV .

Perhaps this might be the very very yummy meet-up event.

Some foods seem familiar to me but ain’t figure out since the name of food items are not included in photo’s caption.

wow @LucioV super food and fun filled meetup , i love italian food , i watch a lot of food shows in fox life and i never tasted one but i have a feeling that they all taste very good , will make a visit to italy for three reasons

1.Food

2.Football

3.local guides

It does not matter , when ever i hear about Football i remember Messi,Francesco Totti .

In India there is a huge fan base for Italian Football .

This is amazing! :slight_smile: You know, some football fans from the 2nd team from Rome, Lazio, usually says that “nobody knows Francesco Totti outside the GRA” (the GRA is the huge highway that surrounds Rome) :slight_smile:

Tell them they are wrong , In India people compare one to Totti if the person is so Loyal ,when we go to market there are three footballers Tshirts that sell most Messi,Cristiano and Totti .

We admire him a lot, Zero hatters i say , i love this quote from him"Its better to stay with a poor family than a rich stranger " . There is a lot of meaning in it .
