[RECAP] Weekly Grooming Session- 7

Dear LGs,

Here I present the tale of a successful session.

I felt as if all my stars had joined their hands to make me happy when I got this dignified opportunity. Doing the work I love with great enthusiasm and heart overflowing with excitement helped me successfully host my maiden meet-up (virtually) which was a part of Weekly Grooming Sessions. In continuation with the previous Weekly Grooming Session -6 hosted by @bhavanakuntal The point of discussion was “Advanced 360 photography using Mobile and more about Street View app”.
7th conclave of this series, especially designed for the grooming of Local Guides for Connect Live 2021.

Being an Interactive session, I was overwhelmed to receive a huge response on the RSVP’s with 100 people responding to attend the Meet-Up. To add up, there were Local Guides from all over the World attending the meet-up.
We were immensely excited for this meet-up.
The meet-up was organised successfully with the help of constant support of my Co-host @PramodMG

I received enormous help and guidance from our Mentor @TravellerG and great assistance from @Anil6969 and @Sathiyaph in the aspect of administrative and technical support.
Keeping it short and sweet, let’s begin with …

Initiation: The meet-up session was live at 5:30 pm IST onwards.

Introduction: I introduced the session’s topic to the audience. This was the 3rd session of the series in continuation and primarily emphasizing on:
•Publishing 360 photo using Street View app.
•Uploading multiple photos using Street View app.
•Connecting 360 photos using Street View app.

Self-introduction of the Attendees:
The attendees introduced themselves in alphabetical order.

Introduction of Guest speakers:
At 5:55 PM IST, TravellerG gave a brief introduction of the guest speakers of the session, Mahesh, Bharath, Jaison and Deepak respectively.

Formal Session:

@BharathD kicked-off the session with a brief recap of the previous sessions to connect the dots.
The usage of the Street View app was explained along with all the features available in the Settings of the app for more clarity.
Furthermore, the session was made interactive with Attendees asking questions frequently answered by our respected expert Guest Speakers.

@Mahesh_Dilip_Salvi shared a virtual representation of connecting multiple 360 photos as a tour.
The whole process was conducted so gracefully that all the attendees became very excited to try this on their own.

Q n A session:
The Q n A session was taken forward by @jaisoncbe and @deepakjhic taking up questions from the previous sessions as well.

Q n A

Ans. There are many 3rd party application, available…However Street-View is Opensource so we prefer that.

Summing it up, It would not have been possible to host my first successful meetup without the support from my friends all over the globe. Thanks to @Ewaade_3A and Bhavana for the constant support.

Ending with the video recording of the Meet-up, I apologize for posting the late Recap, asI was facing bad connectivity due to heavy rains and a Cyclone hitting western parts of Maharshtra, Thank God Almighty , we’re all safe.
