Writing this filled with excitement about Weekly Grooming Session 12, which reached the milestone of a dozen on this WGS series.
Warm greetings to you as you are reading. Every week we gear up to bring some helpful content from well experienced and oriented speakers to guide and help the local guides community to improve their skills not only in this particular forum but also for grooming individually in every aspect.
This platform helps me to be well engaged and something to look forward even during the time of nations wide lockdown. I am blessed to get along with this beautiful community which I can learn something new regularly as well as meet beautiful people all around the globe. It is truly such a soothing for my mental health too.
As the saying goes, an ideal mind is a devil workshop, yet this phase allows me to build up an authentic connection with wonderful people.
Since this is a very special series reaching the milestone of 12th session. As we celebrate, I want to brief about how it first started. The first series was held on 18th April, 2020. Our Mentor TravellerG was the host and he shared his knowledge about “LG Connect introduction” and “Dos & Don’ts of Tagging”, since then, it has been continuing every week and thus on 4th July 2020, the 12th series came into success.
Before briefing the details of the session I would like to take this opportunity to thank my team: Truly amazing team is hard to find, difficult to part and impossible to forget. Each one of you is an incredible human being and I’m grateful to have you all around.
@TravellerG Sir:Our main speaker of this session and always a mentor. He is a LG, level -10 from Yercaud, Tamil Nadu, India. A Traveller - Photographer - Reviewer with above 7 Crore (70 Million) viewers in Google Map. A Technical Consultant & Trainer, and a person who enjoys sharing his experience in LG Connect. A Big Thank you for imparting your skills and mindset that have shaped me well to overcome my weakness. Your mentoring means so much to me.

With the help of all the team, the session happens to be productive and worthwhile.
The meeting bridge was open by 5:15 PM (IST) Anil Sir and Ajit Sir welcomed the attendees which created the room active. When Anil Sir gave a surprise announcement about the Celebration of a Dozen Series, the room was filled with great excitement and totally brightened up the room adding more sparks.
Soon then formal announcement began and Sir Jaison highlighted the overview of the session and it began by 6:05 PM (IST) before our main speaker began the share, I just gave a short recap on “How to add signature/tag line in LG Connect” by using PPT. Time was given to Sir TravellerG, he shared on the topic on A Comprehensive Hands-on Tutorial about “Signature” in LG Connect. Sir gave a detailed tutorial-live demo for all levels beginning from creating signatures to adding GIFs and Social Media Account links. A complete guide and step by step tutorial were given in a methodical manner with Q&A, some questions were asked by Ma’am Rosy Kholi, Ma’am Yashoda and Kalyan Pal.
Sir clarified their doubts. The LG attendee’s were attentive and very happy. They appreciated TG Sir for excellent guidance.
Soon after the session was over, Sir. Jaison came up with the word game. Before the game began, the announcement of the last session of WGS-11 winners was announced with an E-Certificate. The energy in the room was filled with a positive environment, there was a tough competition between last week’s winner Jean and Vikram, however, Vikram could speed up and take over. This week’s winner is LG Vikram.
Soon after, Anil Sir took over again and asked the attendees to introduce whoever could not do it before. Once again he warms up the room with some mind-blowing quizzes, about some facts of the WGS series. TG Sir also shared his experience of First WGS, how it started then and now bringing the positive change reaching the landmark of the first dozen celebrations.
Overall there were about thirty two Local Guides in the room. There were a lot of thankful greetings exchanged from everyone in the house as each of them were so grateful and also remembering the others who had contributed in the past too.
Last but not the least, the announcement was made for the upcoming event Inspirational Virtual Meet (IVM) - 4 which is to be held on 26th July 2020.
This time Devi Dimitra as a (host) and Ishant Gautam (co-host) and we are privileged to have Sir Aslam as the speaker of the event.
Once again huge applause to all the LG attendee for making the meetup beautiful and successful. A big amazing thanks to you all.
