[Recap] Virtual taste of Desserts

My second virtual meet-up on Virtual Taste of Desserts held today. Initially, there was a technical problem with sound, so I do apologize to all the attendees for their inconvenience. I presented photos on several desserts that are eaten in Bangladesh.

My first presentation was on the common ingredients that are commonly used to make various kinds of desserts. These ingredients are very much simple and easily found. I presented some photos of sugar and jaggery.

My second presentation was on the popular dessert of Bangladesh: vermicelli. I described how to cook and what you need to cook this. I also presented different types of vermicelli cooked in Bangladesh.

[Vermicelli]

After vermicelli, I presented another dessert: Payesh. I described the recipe and how it is served before the guests in Bangladesh.

[Payesh]

Then my presentation was on another sweet dessert: Jorda. It is very colorful and the attendees liked its color.

My next presentation was on various kinds of sweetmeats that are found in Bangladesh. I described and presented photos on Chomcom, Roshgolla, Roshmalai, Shondesh, and Pillow sweet.

[Sweet Pasta]

Finally, I presented sweet curd, Barfi, and Sweet Pasta. After this, the presentation was finished. From the attendees, Mak5 presented very nice and colorful Suji Shondesh and Daal Shondesh which made the meet-up a complete one.

If you want you can see my presented photos in the meet-up Album. I want to give special thanks to @SholaIB and @Mak5 for cooperating with me throughout the whole meet-up. Credit goes to @OlgaKlimchik for her Sour recipe on Cranberry Cake ,photo of which I presented on behalf of her.

Thanks a lot @Mak5 Bhai. Your presence is always a pleasure to me. Your presentation of shondesh were also delicious and very colorful. The use of Cherry over the top of the shondesh gave it a very attractive look. If possible please share a photo as I could not save the screenshot that I took during meet-up. Regards

@SholaIB @Austinelewex cooperation from both of you will definitely encourage me to host another virtual meet-up in the future. Shola is getting busy nowadays, but I insisted him to join this meet-up with me. Due to the sound problem, I was really feeling uneasy but Shola came forward with a helping hand like a real friend. Thanks to both of you as you stayed with me till the end of the meet-up. Will be waiting to meet you both soon. Regards.
