Hello, local guide, how are you all?
Everyone will be happy.
Yesterday’s meetup was one of my best meetups of the year.
Like every year, this year under the banner of Bangladesh Local Guide, Sankivhanga Government Primary School in Laxmipur district held a meetup on a tree planting and general idea about Google Map.
It was attended by the youth of the area.
Planting People.
Planting:
Planting trees saves the environment, with this slogan in mind, we plant trees this year like every year. Let’s make an announcement, let’s all plant 5 trees each.
Our meetup is beautiful because everyone is present on time. Meetup was at a government primary school. All the teachers of the school, donor members of the managing committee were present. This year 6 trees were planted in the school grounds. Among these, fruit and medicinal trees were planted this year. We all know the importance of trees.
Breakfast and lunch:
We all have breakfast at 11.00 am. After that at 02.00 pm we all have lunch together. The menu was,

In the afternoon we all plant trees in front of our mosque with the people of the area. Here were the imams and committee members of the mosque.

Population at Meetup: 12 people
Number of trees in the meetup:
12 (6 neem trees, 2 mango trees, 2 guava trees, 1 large blackberry tree.)
Meetup time: 10 am - 03 pm. (15-08-2021)

Discussion on Google Maps
Later in the afternoon I talked to the young people in the area about the map.
Topic of discussion:
1. What is Google Map and what is its function.
2. What map is contributing to our life style.
3. How we can contribute to the map.
4. The various benefits of Google Maps are discussed.
New local guide

Bangladesh Local Guide member @GaziSalauddinbd has metup at my school before, and has supported us on behalf of the local guide at various events. I am hopeful that the local guide will be with us in the coming days. I learned a lot through Google Maps. You will have these activities regularly in the future. My school and I will always support you
