[RECAP] Tokyo Photography Meetup

Hi guys,

This is probably the most procrastinated recap post. I apologize in advance. I hosted a photo meetup in Tokyo 6th October and just now realized I forgot to do the recap post.

Here’s the link to the meetup page: Meetup Link

We met and had food with @HiroyukiTakisawa @Christine_T , @Anzu, at this Italian restaurant called Eataly in the Tokyo Station. Unfortunately, Hiroyuki san and Christine had to leave to catch their flight for the Connect Live 2018. So,@Anzu,Javiar and I continued with our Photowalk. First, we walked inside the Tokyo station and saw an exhibition celebrating the Japan Railways.

Then, we came outside the Tokyo Station and clicked pictures of the old Tokyo Station and area around Marunouchi building.

Then we went to the first floor of the building opposite to the Tokyo Station and took more pictures of the Marunouchi building and Tokyo Station. You can see the reflection of clouds in the Marunouchi building’s glass. It’s a beautiful architectural marvel.

Then, we walked towards Imperial Palace (this is where the Emperor lives) and Imperial Palace Gardens. We witnessed many picturesque places walking to the gardens itself. (I have added pictures in the drive link at the bottom as I cannot attach pictures larger than 3MB)

Lastly, we went to Tokyo Ramen Street and hard vegan ramen (yes, I am vegetarian) there. It was delicious and flavorful. Tokyo Ramen street is inside Tokyo Station underground area which also has lots of souvenir shops around anime characters.

I hope you liked my post. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you are coming to Japan. I would love to share tips or show you around (if you are in Tokyo).

Thank you!!!

Hi @HimanshiS ,

Thank you for sharing your recap it looks like you had a fine time. I loved the second photo with the reflections :). I am vegetarian as well.

By the way, I’ve relabeled your post to Meet-ups, as it fits better there.
