Hello Friends!
Here I’m sharing our [RECAP] post of “The Great Indian Heritage walk III - Ahmedabad” meetup.
This meetup was a part of The Great Indian Heritage Walk III organised by @AmbrishVarshney and happy to state that it was highly successful.
It was a beautiful morning when I started my journey from my home to Ahmedabad. After reaching the meetup point, I waited for other meetup participants. After some time, other local guides arrived and we greeted each other and we started our photo walk.

Ahmedabad is 600 years old ancient city. It has some finest Indian Islamic architecture monuments as well as beautiful temples of Hindus and Jains. Ahmedabad is also the first Indian city on the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. The Hutheesing Jain Temple is one of the historic complexes that enhance the present beauty of Ahmedabad because of its wonderful architecture.

About Hutheesing Jain temple:
The Hutheesing Jain temple was built in 1848 and is dedicated to Lord Dharmanath, the 15th Jain Tirthankara. Sheth Hatheesingh Kesar Singh started the project to build a grand temple. Unfortunately, he died before the temple was finished and his wife had to come forward to complete the construction of the Hutheesing Jain temple.

The main attraction of the temple lies in its magnificent architectural beauty. Along with the double-story main building, there are dome-shaped structures in the front and rear of the Hutheesing Jain temple, which are equipped with exquisite patterns and designs. White marble carvings attract tourists even more.
The “Kirti Stambh” in the compound of the temple attracts every tourist and devotee because of its creative architectural beauty.
