I’m glad that we have done one more meet-up for Supporting Small Businesses at DMCH area in Ramna in Dhaka. Ramna is a big area so we choose the DMCH there many business places specially a lots of Medicine Shops there, so we Local Guides can support small businesses around us.
It was on last Saturday our meet-up for Helping Small Businesses at Ramna, Dhaka. I and @MukulR vai reached earlier so we had some special milked Tea Called “Malai Cha” and then other three Local Guides join with us later. We start our program at 11:00; started walking from the DMCH main gate and walk through the Secretariat Road to Zahir Raihan Road.
During the meet-up we have seen that many Pharmacies were missing on Google Maps and we also added others missing places, fixing wrong information and adding photos of different business places. We have discussed with different Business owners about how to add a business places on Google Maps and how they can get benefitted from it. We also show them how to update business information after adding a business place on Google Maps.
During this event we have visited more than 30 businesses and fixed information of 20+ POI’s of businesses places on Google Maps; many of them are new POI’s. We have added 15 new POI’s and 6 update information.
In this event we have also added many photos of different business places on Google Maps. We talked with many Business owners about how to claim their own business on Google Maps and can manage with Google Business Profile. It will easy for them to update any of their business information and can get more traffic to their business.
Finally, we had lunch together in a restaurant, we ordered for Kacchi Biryani, Soft Drink and Burhani; and we finish our meet-up at 2 PM.
