Last Sunday November 16 2019 was a special moment for Batu Local Guides, what happened? because that day is the day that we all have been waiting for, especially for me as the Host. This meet up is a special meet up because we got sponsored directly from Google. Of course we are very proud and happy.
This event was attended by 107 guest who were directly invited by Google via email.There are also Local Guides from other City,they are coming from Malang Local Guides, Surabaya Local Guides,Blitar Local Guides,Probolinggo Local Guides,Pamekasan Local Guides.
The event began at 3 pm.
Before we starting photowalk at Hotel El Royal,the attendees introducing themself and they assigned into 10 groups. As a group, they must take a wefie and also photo in each spot and sometimes have to learn information about history of the Hotel El Royal Kartika Wijaya.
Until 5 PM the photowalk event ended and we continued to hold maghrib prayers.
At last, we all arrived at the main event, Foodcrawl. The participants were very happy at that time because they could get to know each other, discuss about Local Guides. At that time @br14n @e @Brian as our Leader also shared about this Meet Up which was supported directly by Google and explained how excited we are prepared this special event from beginning, starting from find a suitable
place, design a t-shirts, stickers, banners and other accessories so the event will be lively and the guests will be pleased to have participate in the event.
this moment brian invited Local Guides from Malang City, Surabaya,Blitar, Probolinggo to share experiences about the Meet Up of their respective cities.They shared experiences when they Met Up.The next event was no less exciting,we distributed doorprize for participants who had the highest contribution in terms of adding places, adding photos, adding videos and giving reviews on Google Maps, and who could answer questions given by the organizer.At the last timeslot, as a host i express my grateful to Google, and the attendees for coming and participating so that the event went successfully and we all were happy.
