This the end of the year meet-up for supporting Small Businesses around us; and one more year is passing from our life at staying at Home due to the pandemic. Hope everything will be perfect in the coming year 2022!
I’m glad that we have done one more meet-up for supporting Small Businesses at Banasree area in Dhaka. Banasree is a newly developed area in the city and many small businesses startup frequently and also changes business places so fast; so we choose this area to help small businesses and update on Google Maps.
It was last Saturday 25th of December 2021; it was on Christmas day our meet-up for Helping Small Businesses at Banasree, Dhaka. I and our most active Local Guides @MukulR arrived at the meet-up point before the 11:00 am; after few minutes another very active Local Guide @Mohammadalauddin vai has joined with us; before starting our meet-up we take some snacks and Coffee.
In the event we have added missing places, fixing wrong information and adding photos of different business places. We have discussed with different Business owners about how to add a business places on Google Maps and how they can get benefitted from it. We also show them how to update business information after adding a business place on Google Maps.
On the event we have visited more than 30 small businesses and fixed information of 20+ POI’s of businesses places on Google Maps. Many of them are new POI’s we have added and others we have update information.
In this event we have also added many photos of different business places on Google Maps. We talked with many Business owners about how to update their business information on Google Maps and also how to manage their own business with Google. It will easy for them to update any of their business information and can get more traffic to their business.
We have finished our meet-up after having lunch together at 2:30pm; we have also discussed on various topics of Connect forum and Local Guide issues.
