The Sri Lanka MYWW 2017 Wrap-up meetup was organized to discuss the activities of the Map Your Wolrd Week 2017 activities of Sri Lanka Local Guides. This is also the first ever meet-up organized by the Kalutara Local Guides Community.
It was a nice gathering and we met at the Calido Public Beach and discussed the activities we did in the week.
We also discuss the issues in the road layer. At the beach, the Google Map shows a road, which does not exist, and we reported it.
After the discussion, we started map editing session in the tourist area in Kalutara, and we carried out it for 45 minutes. We updated a lot of missing details and photos.
We came across a nice little restaurant, where visitors have reviewed the restaurant on walls.
Finally, we went to a Domino’s and had some fun and food.
We enjoyed during the meetup while contributing to the Google Maps.
