The “Show Us Yourself In A Cultural Attire Challenge” was fun and enlightening. The challenge was to celebrate and promote cultural diversity among us (LGs) because 21st May was the 2019’s World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
Sequel to the announcement of the challenge, LGs from all over accepted the challenge and sent in their beautiful contributions from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and Middle East. I sincerely enjoyed every contribution seeing beautiful people of Connect community sharing their traditional costumes with us. The costumes were all amazing with great significance, and the best part is that the contributions were so enlightening and educating. I learned a lot from each contribution and I enjoyed the “fun fact” for every traditional costume of the contributors.
We wouldn’t have discovered all those educative significance of your traditional costumes without you been contributed, so thank you so much, and I look forward to trying all the traditional costumes someday soon. Also, special appreciation to all those who couldn’t contribute because of one reason or the other.
