But now it serves as one of the best places to scoop out Hyderabad’s history. This place has daily visitors from all over the world. Entry fee for Indians is Rs. 15/- and Rs. 200/- for foreigners. It’s worth every penny to see astounding architecture. In 1143, there were no telephones, a letter was only the means of communication. At that time, they’ve built a communication system in which when we clap under a dome which is near the entrance, it sends a signal to the top of this citadel where the king stays. Do you know this is working even now, without any source of energy?
On the day of the meetup, when I entered the fort, I saw, Mohammed Jawad (Local Guide, Level 6) clicking pictures. I just had a quick shot of him. I love that style!! As there was half an hour for the flag hoisting, we went to explore the inner portions of the fort. Have a look at the first picture of the above collage, the entire lawn used to be an evening walking space for the king. Finally, we took part in flag hoisting followed by a National Anthem and greeted the government officials who took care of this beautiful place and maintaining it for the future generations.
