The Gardens, Orchards, and Park meet-up happened on October 26, 2019 at 2 p.m at the Minock & Whitlock Park in the Warrendale neighborhood of Detroit. This event coincided with the ribbon-cutting for the park.

Rain kept the crowd very small but it did go on. County Commissioner Alisha Bell, Mayor Mike Duggan, .Councilman Gabe Leland, State Senator Sylvia Santana, and Congresswoman Rashida Talib were all in attendance.

Thank for your feedback. Since the event got rained and very few people showed, my ability to add more to this recap is severely limited.
