Last Saturday, I did host a meet-up at Port Harcourt Pleasure Park… The main purpose was to socialize with fellow Port Harcourt Local guides, share ideas on how to improve Google maps and have lots of fun.
We all arrived by 2pm. Then i did a small introduction regarding our meet up and gave a small intro regarding local guides. After quick networking session we started our meetup tour inside the park.
There were lots of activities like climbing tower, bouncing castles, Mini Golf, boat ride. Etc… We decided to try out the boat ride.
The maximum number of people allowed to ride the pedal boat was 5 so we had to divide ourselves into 2 groups.
The boat ride was fun as we enjoyed the scenery of the park, engaged in a boat race which my group won, took lots of pictures and videos.
After the meet up, we took a selfie and i encouraged the participants to do active contribution to the map as well engage with local guide community through connect.
It was really a fun time to meet, socialize and interact with other local guides. Port Harcourt is a fun place to be in with lots of attraction points.
