RECAP - Photowalk 13 Storefront Photos in Pune

When places have photos on Google Maps of what they look like from the outside it helps those who are going there for the first time to locate them easily.

This 13th storefront photowalk was conducted as part of Connect’s 8th anniversary celebrations, conducted by @KashifMisidia and @NareshDarji

1. Here’s the storefront photo of the Frozen Bottle Outlet on Baner Road in Pune that shows:

Absence if any accessibility feature like a handrail.
A paddle-operated hand-sanitizer dispenser.,
Ambiance and racks inside the showroom,
Parking space,
A mark that it is a pure-veg food and drink joint.

all in a single frame.

2. This storefront photo of Fish Curry Rice on Pashan-Baner Link Road shows:

Signs that indicate both veg and non-veg food.
Place for waiting.
No accessibility features.

3. This storefront photo of Maaru’s Bakers shows the:

Sit out area.
Accessibility features.
Note: a single step is considered wheelchair accessible.
Ambiance of the outdoors.
Partial view of the interiors.

4. This storefront photo of IDBI Bank on Baner Road shows:

Stairs with handrails.
Parking area.
Various schemes of the bank.
Interest rates on deposits.
ATM facilities available.

5. The last storefront photo of the photowalk has four stores:

American Tourister
Copper Chocs.
Infinity Shoe Store
Kodak XPress.

and shows.

Parking space.
No accessibility features.
Partial view of the interiors and the ambiance.

I tried to capture photos that clearly showed the entrance, the name and details of the shop, and the width of the pavement around it among other details.

Conclusion

I am sure such storefront photos will help Googe Maps users a lot when locating the shop easily especially when they are located amidst a crowd of other shops on Baner Road and Pancards Club Road which has evolved from a humble walkway to an extra-wide and superrich shopping street over the decades.
