When places have photos on Google Maps of what they look like from the outside it helps those who are going there for the first time to locate them easily.

Here’s the storefront photo of the Chitale Bandhu Outlet on Baner Road in Pune that shows:

I tried to capture photos that clearly showed the entrance, the name and details of the shop, and the width of the pavement around it among other details.

Conclusion

I am sure such storefront photos will help Googe Maps users a lot when locating the shop easily especially when they are located amidst a crowd of other shops on Nagras Road which has evolved from a humble walkway to an extra-wide and superrich shopping street over the decades.

I like how your images are well lit and bright. Although I strive to make mine even a bit brighter.

First, I felt you were wasting a lot of good space in your frames on quite uninteresting pavement in from of the stores. Here parking right in from of a shop is almost unheard of. There are always plenty of public parking spaces around.

But in your culture it makes perfect sense. I also like how you avoid having people in your shots.

Your observation is correct @MortenCopenhagen , especially since you have traveled in India, let me add that customers in India almost always prefer shops that are as close to the parking space. As a result, most businesses make sure that they leave enough space for parking 2-wheelers.

Including the front space in the storefront photo is of utmost importance for shops out here in India.

This is precisely the space that most restaurants and food joints have now started utilizing for outdoor seating, similar to what you mentioned elsewhere that is happening in Denmark as well.
