[RECAP] Owode Food Crawl

Hi everyone
I hosted my first meet up which was a food crawl at Shadow bar Owode, Oshodi street, on may 11 2019. Three local guides attended the Meetup, l wanted local guides to enjoy and experience the type of food Owode people enjoy at Shadow bar, at first I was sceptical if they would love it but yes they did

When the local guides arrived snacks like meat pie and cupcakes were served ,this was gotten from a local caterer based in Owode.
later the peppered panla fish was served , this fish is a smoked fish gotten from the local market, it is smoked, then deep fried and finally mixed with pepper sauce , it is served garnished with sliced onions. It is a very peppery food.
Lastly the Detox herbal drinks (AGBO) was served, there are three types of this Agbo and they are Jedi, Iba, and Atosi , this drinks are local drinks and are very popular among locals, people come from other parts of Lagos just to have a taste of this drinks.

After we left Shadow bar, we went to the primary health center, round Owode and the local guides took pictures of the place to add to their personal photo album.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Meetup@EmekaHouse @Vera -chidera @ChefAmaka .

@Hannah_Ishola It was interesting visiting Owode in Ajah. Community close to the Lagoon. The fish was delucious but most importantly your family’s hospitality. Your dad sure shiuld be a Local Guide. thanks for hosting and I look forward to seeing more of your meet-ups.
