The One Accessibility Initiative had another successful webinar last week to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Local Guides.
We had an inspiring and insightful Accessibility Webinar featuring Joe Devon, a recognized leader in the digital accessibility space and co-founder of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD).
Joe shared impactful insights on how AI is playing a transformative role in enhancing digital accessibility. He emphasized that while AI presents exciting opportunities—such as writing codes, auto-captioning, image recognition for screen readers, and dynamic interface adjustments—it’s important for organizations to go beyond GAAD. Joe challenged everyone to adopt systematic, sustainable approaches to accessibility that are embedded into design, development, and leadership culture year-round.
One Accessibility Webinar was one of the events approved by GAAD in 2025. Our theme for this year’s celebration is “Breaking Digital Barriers: Visualizing Future of Accessibility”
A big thank you to all who joined us and actively participated in the conversation. Your presence made the event dynamic and meaningful.
