Nowa Huta is the youngest “sister” of Cracow. It’s a industrial district created in 1949. Main part of the district is on the UNESCO list. It’s worth seeing not only because of that fact but also because of amazing atmosphere and industrial feeling. I organized Google Local Meet up because I would like to meet new people who’re also trying to make Google Maps better and help inhabitants to discover their surroundings.
Organizing Google Local Guides Meet up in Krakow it’s still a rocket science 
we have to work on it and I hope that there will be more and more participants 
We met on 26 January 2020, there were 3 Local Guides (including me). Well begun is half done!
Our meeting point was near to the only one cinema in Nowa Huta - The Sfinks Cinema, it’s very local studio cinema with ambitious repertoire (you can discover here unknown movies from differen countries). I have printed Local Guide stickers to have more fun with other Guides 
We were in the front of Ludowy Theatre - the first theatre in Nowa Huta. Opened in 1955, it was to be a present from the communist authorities to the working people.
Near to this place we saw a tank (yes, in Nowa Hute we have a real tank :D) The tank was from April 1945 put in action in Poland and Czechoslovakia. It is named after Josef Stalin and it has special symbols - the first letters are IS.
We saw also Huta Sztuki (Ironworks of Art) but only from outside because it was closed at that time.
During our walk we also went to the Lord’s Ark Church, very outstanding place. Built between 1967 and 1977, Nowa Huta’s first house of worship was pieced together brick by brick by volunteer workers with no help from the government.
After that there was a time for rest and eat something We visited new tasty place in Nowa Huta: Zielone 13 and tried there delicious pizza and ravioli.
