I have hosted similar virtual meetups in 2017 and after that again in 2020 I have started this Virtual meetup. I love our mother nature and always love sharing nature-related photographs to Google Maps.
As scheduled, the meetup started at 8 pm and follow local guides one by one joined this meetup. @AlphaSays , @Niv1234 , @Rumal95 , @kasunaaa , @ravindus , @NalinK , Sakeels, Yukthi, @Shafranlive , Amila, and Nazim joined this meetup; and the meetup started with self-introductions.
Slowly we started talking about nature-related contributions, experiences I had through Google maps and Local Guides program. Yes, all participants shared their stories.
I had a nice time with these awesome local guides and hope to host more virtual meetups in the near future. Thank you all who joined this meetup.
I know some more local guides were trying to join this meetup and due to HO limit couldn’t connect everyone. I hope I will come up with a solution, how we can connect many local guides as much as possible in similar Virtual hangouts in the future.
