Sometime last year i made a pact with myself to see a new place outside of my location once every year. Soon enough the holidays came in and i found myself digging out information of places i could go to. I had never been on a train and somehow the thought crossed my mind. Thanks to Google, i was able to figure out train stations in Nigeria and saw that they were active and comfortable trains from Abuja to Kaduna. It felt so perfect because Abuja was already on the list of places i wanted to visit, so armed with my google knowledge, i headed to Abuja from Lagos.
The train ride was a mixture of excitement, disappointment, revelation and all forms of emotions was welling up in me.
