[RECAP] Meetup Taipei — April 26, 2020 — VIDEO
During this meetup we take a walking tour of Dadaocheng — a historic area of Taipei, from the Chen dynasty.
The Dadaocheng neighborhood and its architecture, are protected by the city’s historic preservation.
During this meetup we stop for snacks, and discuss why there is no lockdown in Taiwan.
We share the two keys to no lockdown in Taiwan during COVID-19, and only 6 deaths in the entire country - masks and social distancing!
A-Kwon Fang, Local Guide Level 10 (201,000 points), presents facts about the area and some little known neighborhood secrets.
Attendees include:

Additional details about the meetup:
The coronavirus has forced nearly the entire world to enter lockdown.
Taiwan is the one exception. Why is this?
Taiwan was the first country to take precautionary measures against COVID. The public is well-informed and the government has been orchestrated in controlling the spread of the virus.
As the WHO attempted to silence Taiwan’s success in combatting the coronavirus, Google Local Guides will help share the story of success with the world — hopefully saving lives and helping other communities see preventive measures taken.
