[Recap] Lipton's Seat Geo Walk

Hallo! Everyone First Sorry for delayed Recap Unfortunately i’m affected by fever due to Climate change just recover from that anyways This Is my first meetup out of my home city. Actually I had trip with friends For Three days so its chance to host meetup in other cities And Make Them as Local guides Too.First I planned the geo walk at 7.30 am This is too Far from my rented room around 2hours driving we ready at 5.00am and start driving roads are very narrow and bending roads anyways we arrived at 7.40am at the meeting point With Jafffna local Guides @akm , @kajee First i checked the mails and chats any others join or not because that location does’t have the coverage so can’t get calls too

I check any other other participate in this meetup but no one there so we start climbing surrounded by tea plantations. We have seen stunning views from there Its really like green mats . Entry fee is 30LKR Per Head, it’s around 7 Km. During The climb I explained to my friends about Local guides, what are the advantages and the Points systems. They raise lot of questions about local guides. Answered one by one We had some fun chat too @KajeeGK he’s Expert in telling jokes. finally we arrived top at 9.10am at the time lot of crowds and Tourist there. First we took some photos on the top in view point.

Then Everyone tired then we go to cafe there only one shop in the top but that place not in maps we try to add maps but mobile coverage is not there so we just pin the place and decided add after arrived back to coverage zone. We take some hot Rotti with plain tea its rally jummy for that climate. This place very famous among tourist. no need to carry lot of water bottles during hiking you can buy in top also

Finally we ready to back at 11.30 am ,no one like to back because the place is very calm and cool. then we ready to get down with stunning views. no one forgot to get photos too. we arrived the bottom at 12.30 pm

my friends also like to contribute to maps after this walk. lets see what they done in next meetups.

Hi @ThanulakshanS .

Thanks for mention me in this eye catching and beautiful recap.

I love this kind of natural places, hopefully one day I will visit that place. Beautifully shot video and photos.

I have a question. Can we taste fresh tea from that Lipton’s farm?and can we buy fresh tea leaves from there?

Thanks and have a good day

For tagging me. I love nature, and the place is breathtaking.

I know you had to get up and run, early in the morning, but it is not a big price to pay for being in a so beautiful place. Special moment are unforgettable.
