Hello Local Guides!
How are you?
Today’s post is related to the recap of our recent #LGCTM MEET UP in Haridwar Uttarakhand . It was a themed meet up in which we have to report the places which are no longer available in maps and other map editings such as a place with incomplete information, reporting selfies in maps, reporting pictures which are not related to that place.
The idea of LGCTM Meet Up initiated by our Connect Moderator:** @JanVanHaver **
3 Local Guides(including me) attended the meet up and we checked the temple area with maximum zoom level as per the instructions by our moderator.

We found 2 Duplicates of a place and 3 Duplicates of another place, both the places are located inside the temple. We reported already the places having duplicates and now waiting for the approval.
Attaching the screenshot of Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple duplicates which is existed by Daksh Temple & daksh mandir in maps.
Attaching the screenshot of another place which have 3 Duplicates: Daksh Ganga Ghat, Daksh ganga ghat, Ganga Mata Daksh Ghat (as you can also see in the below image).
A Ghat is a kind of religious spot at which devotees take bath in the river before entering in the temple. It’s named by 3 different names on maps.
A short video in which you can see the duplicates(at maximum zoom level):
Apart from reporting duplicate places we edit 4 places whose name was not correct (2 of them verified) but 2 names still have pending status.
Meanwhile we also communicate(by video conferencing) with some of our senior local guides from different states of India. They have shared their maps editing experience virtually.
Attaching the screenshot.
