(Recap) LGC Anniv Plantation Meetup NawabShah

Hello Local Guides My name is Danish Baloch, and I m from Nawabshah Pakistan. Here is
the recap of my first Ever Meetup

First of all I m really Grateful to @KashifMisidia who motivated us alot to do something not jus
for Our country but for LGC too, and guide us like a real Mentor and Teacher by Phone Calls
and messenger Chats. Thanks Brother Kashif Misidia
So this meetup was the part of the LGC’s Third Anniversary Celebrations on 14th of August, the
72nd Anniversary of Pakistan’s independence.
The start time for LGC anniv meetup Nawabshah was 8am at Otaq Rais Najaf Ali Mari Village.
It was extreme hot day and the temperature was about 42cg in NawabShah District.
I reached there earlier, and waited more half an hour after start time for other local
guides/participants but than I started it with some of the farmers and my friends of the home
Village.

Our Target was 100 trees plant on 14th of August to pay tribute to Pakistan, because we are
facing too much problems by climate changings such as floods, extreme warming and many
other problems.

We started our Plantation ride by 100 “Neem” (Azadirachta indica) trees and “Shahtoot” plants on that day, which
are truly environmental friendly plants, and provide free oxygen for us.
My friends shahryar Ali Hubdar mari, Shahbaz bhai , Adil bhai, Lutuf bhai , Muhammad nawaz bhai and waseem bhai, Farmers and Many other people not just helped me continuesly four
hours to plant trees but they aware more people of the village and Thier families about the
benifits of plantation.

I m really thankful for my dearest friend and fellow local guides @KashifMisidia @OmerAli @Haseeb and @SimonAndrews who guide and motivate me for my first meetup. And I want to admit
that this was the best day and meetup of my life, when I feel happiness from my inside.
I hope we can see many initiatives like this from great community of local guides.
In the end I want to wish good luck to @SimonAndrews for his Plantation with Local Guides in Lahore Meetup.

Thank you.

@Danish_Raza @ErmesT @PaulPavlinovich @Safdarrai @@@ I really love the idea of your meetup to help make your environment a better place by engaging in tree planting Campaign. It is a really great development for all of us here. In Nigeria most of the city center lack trees because of quest for land. But mostly in Public Institutions like University of Nigeria, trees are predominant there. Thank you for sharing it here with us. I guess I would do something like that In near future. Though in Rotary, we engage in Tree planting Campaign every Rotary year

Saludos Farid

Thank you @FaridTDF
The fire of Amazon made whole world sad, and it will make bad impact on World’s climate. I m also very sad, because we need to increase forests in whole world, and right now we can’t afford the lose of any single tree .

Gracias Sir Farid Monti for your comments.

Wow @Danish_Raza you are a real Hero, planting 100 trees in four hours, it’s really a big task, and you did it. Leading the group and share your knowledge about great initiative like this is no doubt not a very easy job.

Thank you for the honour, that you learn by me, and implied it much better than me. Proud of you my friend.

I m looking forward more meetups with new initiatives from you and #teampakistan. And anytime you can tag me , ask any question, share any idea, if you feel any difficulty or anything in your mind.

I know @IlankovanT will be happy to see another great volunteer of his campaign #letsmapsgreen .

Wishing you best of luck Danish.

Shukriya

when Neil Armstrong said

“a small step for man but a giant leap for mankind” , I believe not only he mentioned the technology, but also, focus, persistence and drive to do the needful, to put a bigger dream in perspective, a dream that will pave the way for future generations and benefit them. I believe your campaign is only the beginning and with your devotion and hardwork you are going to make a big impact.

So, glad to see my people utilizing their energy in the right direction.

Very happy to see this post @Danish_Raza and I am sure we will see continued episodes of community work from you

That is great that you’re involved in Rotary tree planting. I’m involved with a local group that plants around 1,000 trees each year. We’re gradually filling up some of the local fields and making forests @Austinelewex .

Aslam-e-alaikum @OmerAli bhai,

First of all I would like to thank you for your valuable feedback and encouragement. Every man starts his own work with his small steps, No human can jump to his destination, Because for everything, human beings have to work hard.

Plantation is not my job From the beginning I was fond of doing plantation, If the point is to continue this work, then I will continue this work in my free time, And I would like to work with the Pakistan Local Guide Community in the future.

Shukriya
