[RECAP] Let's Support Small Businesses

I hope everybody is well.

Today I will share with you all my last Meet-up experience which was Let’s Support Small Businesses held on January, 29,2021 at Barishal University.

There were six of us in this meetup and our special guest was @Mukul_BD who came from Dhaka to participate in this Meet-up

We had already decided that we would all be cut off and then go to our meet-up venue. Five of us set out together and one from the middle of the road joined us and total we were six.

We arrived on time and we started our meet-up activities.

COVIT19 has broke the backbone of small business.

It was very important for us to have this Meet-up so I hosted this Meet-up to make a contribution to this small business.

Being a university-centric shop, their condition was very bad, their sales and rates were very low. The reason is that schools, colleges and universities have been closed for a long time so their business is going very badly.

In this Meet-up we have added missing places, edited wrong information and added present photos of different business places. We also adviced different Business owners about add their shop on Google Maps and how they can manage with Google My Business and can get more benefits from their business very easily.

In this event we have fixed information of 5 businesses on Google Maps, 8 missing places we added on Google Maps, we updated information of 4 places and we have added almost 30 photos of different business places on Google Maps.

At the ending time of our Meet-up we started our discussion session. We preferred a mini restaurant and buy some food from the restaurant near the Meet-up area. @Mukul_BD

explained to Meet-up attendees how important to support small businesses.

It was really an amazing meet-up @KamalHossenR . You did a great job to make this meet-up a successful one. To arrange a physical meet up on this theme is not an easy thing to do. But together we did this nicely. I hope other attendees will continue supporting small businesses in Barisal as we explained things about how to do that.
