Hello Local Guides!
I hope everybody is well in this global Pandemic time, take care of yourself and stay safe.
Today I will share with you all my last Meet-up RECAP which was Let’s Support Small Businesses-P5 held on 18,June,2021 at Amrita Lal Dey College, Barishal.

Due to Covid-19 viruses, all the educational institutions of Bangladesh have been closed for 16 months. Students have doubts about when the educational institution will open. If Covid-19 infections were under control, the educational institution could open on June 13. But the Covid-19 infection of the country has started increasing again, so the education ministry increased the holidays of all educational institutions of secondary and higher secondary level till June 30.
I think it is very important to help the educational institution centric business to stand by them during this crisis time. Due to the closure of schools and colleges their selling rate very low. I want to improve their selling rate for that purpose I have hosted Let’s Support Small Businesses-P5 Meet-up at Amrita Lal Dey College, Barishal. .
The special reason for the Meet-up in the Amrita Lal Dey College area is that this college is one of the most popular in the city of Barishal. The college has an estimated 1500 to 2000 students. Therefore, due to the large number of students and its popularity many businesses have sprung up around the college. I also completed my higher Secondary education from this college. On the day of the Meet-up , when I entered the college and saw some of the boys playing on the college playground, I remembered those old memories of how much I also played in this college playground.

On the day of the Meet-up , it was raining all day. Sometimes heavy rain, sometimes light rain. So I was a little hesitant whether I could complete the Meet-up. 
When it was raining a little, we went out in the afternoon even though we couldn’t get out in time. It was a little late to get out of the house because of the rain. Then we went to our destination with an umbrella. Once there, we were able to contribute for a while.

Our contribution in this Meet-up:
We have 4 new places we added on Google Maps**,.** We updated information as contact number & open-close times of 3 places and we have added 12 recent photos of different places and given 2 reviews on Google Maps.

We also advised different Business owners about Google My Business. Claim their shop on Google My Business and get more customers and benefits very easily.
We bought the Halim from a small restaurant, because our Meet-up was Support Small Businesses. We chose a small shop with the attitude that we can help small businesses at least a little bit through our shopping.
I am really happy to be able to complete the five Meet-ups on Supporting Small Business. I would like to thank all those who have always been by my side to advise, encourage and support me to complete these Meet-ups.
