Hello Local Guides!
Hope all of you are well.
Today I am sharing to you all my last Meet-up RECAP which was
Let’s Mapping for Students Safety-P2 held on 20 March 2022.
Worldwide Covid-19 has caused massive disasters that have disrupted normal human life, as well as radically changed children’s education. Bangladesh’s educational institutions, as well as some of the world’s educational institutions, were closed for the longest time in the world and conducted online based education through which primary and infant children could not fully enjoy their education and happiness.
The Government of Bangladesh emphasizes the importance of providing equitable and participatory distance learning services to all children during school closures, in addition to providing assistance to ensure the Health and overall well-being of children. Covid-19 has changed the context of worldwide learning.
Thus the monotony of children’s education has gone away and parents are also somewhat reluctant to send their children to school because children are unaware of safety. Gradually, educational institutions of all levels have started opening in different parts of Bangladesh and lastly, the Bangladesh Board of Education has directed to conduct physical classes directly in the primary schools.
The Guardians have been able to know by using Google Maps to find out what kind of Safety measures are in place at the educational institution where their children are attending, so they can be a little more confident and for this purpose I hosted this Meet-up and I was able to update as much as I could.

Talking to the school authorities, I came to know that they are giving lessons for each class one day so that the students can avoid gathering.

Everyone inside has to attend the class wearing masks.
In the meantime I let her know about Google Maps Apps so that they can share their next updates via Google Maps. She said it is really helpful that they will think about it.
