Today I am sharing with you all my last Meet-up RECAP which was
Let’s Find Accessible places in Barishal held on 12 March 2021 at Sadar Road Barishal.
The number of Wheelchair Accessible places in our Barisal city are very low and those Wheelchair Accessible places are not so well known to the people.

Through this Meet-up I have up-to-date all the Wheelchair Accessible places in Barisal city on Google Maps so that you can easily find these places using Google Maps, and I have put some Wheelchair Accessible logo stickers so that people can see and understand this place Wheelchair Accessible.

Our main objective in this meetup was to find the Wheelchair Accessible please and keep it up-to-date as well as affix stickers. On the way to this activity, we have seen various types of places where there is wrong information, we have edited them and added appropriate photos at the present time.
On the way to our Meet-up we found a disability service and help center there is no Wheelchair Accessible facilities, when I see that made me very sad. Where it was very important to have a Wheelchair Accessible ramp, after seeing the situation and talking to an officer of there, he said it was an old building we rent here is not Wheelchair Accessible facilities, Landlords he said that it will be assured in the future. But there are many buildings in our city now that do not have Wheelchair Accessible and many private owner new buildings making those are not being built with this kind of Accessible thinking planned. On the other hand, now it is being noticed that some of the new government buildings which have separate ramps for Wheelchair Accessible facilities and disable peoples can enter those places easily.
