Hello Dear LGs
I am glad to host my first Meet Up under the guidance of our senior LGs, @TravellerG @ sir, @Shrut19 di @RosyKohli
Due to some unexpected event at ISKCON Temple - Juhu on the date and time of meet-up, we had to change the Meet up location and thankfully we had another conducive environment where we continued from our first meet up, hosted by Shruti di and Rosy Ma’am (ie. Radha Krishna Veg. Resturant, Andheri West).
With the tempo of the topic built up, in the first meetup,
Although the Connect RSVP showed many LGS, I was happy that I could meet many LGs:
Starting with Jawahar sir (a wonderful person, specially with good photo editing skills) & LG mahesh (amazing 360 photographer), Sumeet (very active and enthusiastic person) shreeya (a friendly person), Rosy Ma’am (very knowledgeful and wise person).
LGs who attended the first meet up were also a part of this meet-up and apart from that,
I was happy that despite the Location change, our LGs
@AvirajAgarwal (friendly and person with many travel stories) and Karan Jain (a student, enthusiastic and photography lover) showed up travelling from Thane and joined the Meet up.
We had LG Aditya (active member of Mumbai community) who came after attending a family function. We also had LG shailendra Kothari who joined us
Everyone introduced and greeted each other and joined the discussions actively.
Emphasis was given on “Share and Learn” concept, which included sharing of knowledge with our fellow LGs so they can learn from each other.
Our senior LGs also mentioned the
Importance of organizing local guides meet-up,
Publishing Knowledge sharing Post in LG Connect, keeping the Maps without Spam.
We discussed topic like #LGCM local guides clean the maps with special discussion on “edit” option.
Our dearest senior LGs offered their assistance and guidance to LGs who are keen to apply for Live Connect 2020.
We ordered Tea /coffee & snacks, while continuing with the discussions.
We also had a cake cutting by the team.
Connected with fellow LGs Globally via Video Call.

We concluded the meeting at 5:00 PM and left for the Airport to see-off TG sir, Shreeya, Sumeet, Shruti Di, Aviraj, Aditya and I reached Airport along with TG sir. We clicked some more pictures and had a great talk with each other.
We left from the Airport at 7PM reached Andheri station and took train back to home.
I was glad host this Meet Up as being a new LG I had many queries which were addressed by fellow LGs
I learnt how being a local guide makes difference and provides help to many users of Google Maps.
I also learnt that sharing our idea and Helping each other helps to create better community and learn new things.
I also learnt how on individual level I can make my contribution better.
Also how we can create more useful and great post on local guides connect.
I also made new friends

Also had great time with my friend @Shreeya_99 and deareast Shruti di.
It was a memorable day and very fruitful one.
I would thank everyone who became a part of it and made it successful.
Looking forward to attend and host many such knowledge sharing meet up which prove beneficial for the community.
