RECAP: Join Us for a Great Evening - “Meet & Greet!”

Hello Local Guides, I am very happy to announce that the meetup organized by me and @TravellerG at India Gate was a grand success ; I am describing the details as follows:

The meetup was organised to unite like-minded Local guides through physical and virtual realms. Around thirty Attendees participated both in-person and virtually allowing a hybrid experience for many LGs.
I was so excited to meet this meetup and meet the local guides of Delhi that I arrived two hours early with Ajit.

I made special stickers and badges as souvenirs for all the attendees who came to the meetup. I welcomed everyone by distributing these stickers and badges.

During the meetup we also had sessions discussing Google Maps and LG Connect - These sessions were full of valuable information and lively discussions as we answered questions and shared knowledge, making the experience both enlightening and captivating.

Then we decided to witness “The Daily Police Band March Past at India Gate”; this event daily takes place exactly at 6 PM and is designed to offer a daily spectacle of music, discipline, and patriotism, akin to the grand ceremonial parades seen during national events like Republic Day.

Along with the Parade, the ‘Virtual Session’ also was conducted and we transmitted the parade lively from the ground. A large number of attendees participated which we never expected.

Thereafter, we moved for refreshments which ended with a grand dinner by 8:30 pm.
For many close friends, it was very difficult to say farewell - but, then we had to conclude the meetup. I hope you enjoyed the RECAP. Request you to kindly give your feedback.

Sorry due to my flight delay couldn’t attend the meet up physically. I saw it was 14.9 km from airport due to traffic couldn’t reach directly so went home .
